Cookbook - Cooking With Indian Masters
This book is a bundle of recipes from master chefs who have
put Indian Cuisine on the world map. Indians did not have a tradition of going to
restaurants to eat. Hotels and Restaurants in India had to come up with special
meals to attract clientele - these chefs were pioneers and helped create Indian Restaurant
Cooking.
The chefs have been called the "Grand
Ol'Men and the "Whiz Kids" of the Indian Kitchen. Chefs who are inventing and
daring ready to try out any thing new and different. Jiggs Kalra presents wonderful
collection of recipes-old and new- from the wonderful repertoires of these master chefs.

Wazwaan - Traditional Kashmiri Cuisine
Wazas are the master chefs of Kashmir - Now their recipes are
made available to all those who love the cuisine of the beautiful valley.
The elaborate preparation and ceremonial presentation of lavish meals, often comprising 36
courses, make 'wazwaan' a sumptuous and royal repast. Seven dishes typically form an
indispensable part of the feast - 'tabakh maaz, rista, rogan josh, dhaniwal korma, aab
gosh, marchwagan korma and ghustaba, Firin and kahwah (green tea)' round off a
never-to-be-forgotten culinary experience.
Many Indian restaurants create their own versions of Kashmiri cooking. |
